Seated figures of Jain teachers are always sculpted with hands folded in meditation. Thie central Mahavira Swami has an auspicious diamond-shaped mark on his chest. Exceptional thinly carved pair of Nephrite jade of opaque and translucent chromophore composed of a dark green and mottled matrix indicative of spinach jade. The Gu shaped vase is a rectangular form (viewed from the top) with its splaying profile delineated on all terminating four corners with a flaring trumpet neck and mouth opening.
