A rare glazed, genuine SONG/YUAN glazed Celadon pot with molded flowers/foliage and 2 loops, 14th Century. The bottom glazed area also has a fine and rare molded flower motif. The foot itself remained unglazed. Diameter 7.5 cm x height 6 cm. This fine and rare Celadon was found in the Musi river, close to Palembang City, which was the Capital of the SRIVIJAYA KINGDOM, and which had a vast trade network with China and Siam. Overall condition good.

Chinese Song dynasty conical form bowl with slightly flared rim covered in a pale blue-green qingbai (yingqing) glaze that stops at the flat, unglazed low foot. Chinese Song to possibly Yuan dynasty brown glazed stoneware jar with horizontal ribbed body moulded in high relief with a dragon chasing the pearl of wisdom. The glaze stops above the unglazed foot. 6 7/8” high. Circa 12th/13th century. Very good overall condition with a barely visible old break to the horns (see closeup image).
