A very appealing 19th century Chinese cloisonne reclining dog decorated in green, red, white, yellow, and blue against a turquoise ground. Gold gilt on cloisens, collar, gourd shaped bell, paws, eyes, and tail. In very good antique condition, there are no chips or abrasions to the enameling. Measures 4 inches high x 4.25" long.

Chinese late Qing to early Republic period rosewood multi-tiered display stand carved with bamboo-form supports holding seven shelves for displaying objects. Carved bamboo leaf details are in the bottom corners. Early 20th century. 30" high x 19 3/4" wide x 10" deep. Very good overall condition. Antique Japanese bronze suiban with raised designs of dragons on the front and back. Swirling mist motifs decorate the sides of the suiban and continue on the four feet it stands on. A key motif runs along the edge of the rectangular container. Four character mark on the bottom. Suiban are intended for displaying flowers (with a kenzan) or for displaying suiseki scholar stones for viewing and contemplation. Some repair to the feet.

A stone formed bowl covered entirely in platinum by Inayoshi Osamu enclosed in the original signed wooden box accompanied by the shiori and Shifuku. An antique Japanese Choba Tansu (merchant chest) made of Sakuranoki (Cherry wood), Kuri (Chestnut), Keyaki (Zelkova) and Sugi (Cryptomeria) woods.
