An open basin in the shape of a tea bowl by female artist Okuda Tomoko enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Raku Kohen Hanaire (Kiln altered Raku Vase). It has the feeling mas as if it has grown this way, out of some geologic process, than sculpted out of clay. Large and tactile it is 8 inches (20 cm) diameter, 5 inches (13 cm) tall and in excellent condition.

Fabulous Japanese black satin silk haori with a woven lining featuring 3 large rabbits. The outside has 2 family crests on the front and 3 across the back. Please note that the grey spotted rabbit has red pupils. This is a high quality men's haori and is in excellent condition. The jacket measures 54 inches across the shoulders by 44” long. Dates circa 1900-1930.

A historical example from Hongzhi reign (1488-1506) in Ming Dynasty. The censer decorated with under glazed cobalt painting depicting two figural scenes: "Worship the Moon" and "Carrying a Qin to Visit Friends". This censer used to be the collection of National Museum of Philippines, There is another identical one in the collection of National Museum of China in Beijing. Splendid and absolutely rare double vase of old Karatsu-yaki. It has a vivid Chosen-Karatsu glaze, and the grandiose embellishment of color creates a sublime sense of tension between the dark glazed and color infusion.

This very decorative vase was made around the mid 19th century (late Edo Period).

Very good antique condition with only a light crack of glaze on the back of the white top, which enforces the all over wabi-sabi look.

An early and rare Japanese copper plaque showing a bird on a prunus mume twig, worked in dull colored cloisonné enamels, the reverse with green contre-émail.
