A hexagonal open-work cast bronze incense stick or utensils holder with two dragon handles, standing on three feet. The sides showing four high-relief immortals and two lotus flowers, the base with lattice pattern. Condition: traces of age. Dimension: height: c. 16.3 cm, c. 14.8 cm wide.

DESCRIPTION: A large, carved wood figure of the Chinese deity Guanyin (also Quanyin, or Kwan-yin), seated on a throne with right leg folded and right hand extended in the abhaya mudra position, a gesture of reassurance, blessing and protection (or “do not fear”). Her hair is worn pulled up in a chignon inside her crown, and around her shoulders is draped a short shawl with flowing ribbons. In good, solid condition with minor age wear; early 20th C. Vintage Japanese box and tray set, made of black lacquered wood with shell inlay in classic Art Deco design of stylized phoenixes, good condition, Showa Period (circa 1933). Tray is 11 1/2" long x 7 3/4" wide. Box is 5" wide by 4" wide.

A white jade of two frolicking animals "kissing" muzzle-to-muzzle. The smaller animal has a little curly tail while the larger one has a long tail going up against its back with a curl at the tip.
