An extremely rare 22K. solid Gold STANDING MINIATURE GARUDA figure with very fine details. This Garuda was found during excavations of the foundations of an ancient Khmer temple. Excellent condition. Size: 2.3 cm. Weight: 10 gr. This Garuda has folded hands in adoration form and the wings are short and not spread out as it is not in flight. The tail feathers are very long. A unique collector's item!

Nine prong bronze bell and matching nine prong bronze vajra (diamond / thunderbolt) with carrying case of patchwork cloth. Used together for spiritual ceremonies. Beautifully rendered design with ritual wear. Bell has dorje design on outer rim, with lotus design on inner bell and a bronze clapper. Nice ringing note when sounded.

Provenance: Lama Les of the Orgyen Dorje Den Tibetan Buddhist Temple.

The mouth is inlaid with a reddish yellow metal that has not oxidized over time, probably gold, I could check and test the metal on request. The eyes were probably also inlaid because there are 2 deep incised line that are now filled with traces of white color...

An antique Papau New Guinea Yipwon figure of the Alamblak people. Anthropomorphic opposing hook style hardwood carving. A large one such as this was collectively owned by clans and worshipped to bring victory to battles and success during hunting. The Yipwon is the patron spirit of warfare and hunting. Custom metal fabricated stand supports the figure.
