Hand carved wood angel with glass eyes from a rural Catholic church in the Philippines. Comes with a wood gold colored horn which rests on its hand. Measures 34" high; Wings total 16" across. Circa 1940-50s. Condition very good, some age cracks.

Spectacular 19th Century miniature Buddha's Throne from Mandalay, Burma. Elaborately hand carved wood with finest gilding inlaid with countless cabochons and colored mirror pieces. This throne/altar also has 2 fine angels as well a pair of beautifully carved Royal Peacocks on top. Very good condition. Size: H. 34" x W. 16" x D. 11.5" (87 cm x 40 cm. x 29 cm.). Antique Tibetan clay statue of wrathful Dorje Shugden mounted on the back of a white lion with an arch of flames around him, painted in polychrome pigments of green, orange, red, yellow, brown, and gilt. The figure seated atop a lion is standard for the Gelug tradition. This figure / deity is considered mischievous by the Dalai Lama. The sect that worships this type of piece is interestingly not recognized by the Dalai Lama. 19th century Size: 8" H, 6" W

A genuine Shan State Bronze Buddha, 17/18th Century, subduing Mara and sitting on a fine stepped throne. Front base has engraved Shan script. The Buddha is filled and heavy, not hollow. It also has an old original dark patina with traces of gilt and very few remnants of cinnabar paint. Size: Height 20.5 cm x 13 cm (8.25" x 5.25" inches). Good condition overall.

He sits with folded legs (right on top of the left). The Ayutthaya Buddha is seated on an interesting representation of a boat.

An interesting Cambodian cast bronze statuette representing the Hindu god Vishnu standing with his 4 arms. The bronze bears an excellent original patina which confirms the dating, 12th century Khmer art.Typical clothing and jewelry. The Asian Art Museum houses a superb similar statue, a photo of which is attached. A wooden plinth was made around 1900 to stabilize the statue. Height without the wooden base: 115 mm (4.5 inches).

A pair of Indonesian lamps comprised of wood temple carvings and Mica shades that were later added. The faces have carved leaves while the eaves have leaves that cascade down.
