Large and massive brass Oil Lamp (5 wick burners), 19th Cent. condition: excellent, size: H. 72cm x 20.5cm diameter at base. We also have a smaller pair of the same period/design, size H. 26 cm x 10 cm at base. All in good condition.

A 20th Century example of a tradition laos rain drum cast in bronze. Three frogs (12 altogether) on top with a twelve pointed star with continuing concentric circle with stamp decoration. The side has two short vines with a feaf design. snails representing water and fertility.

A globular flared body rises with four attached handles of frog design. Circular concentric pattern continues throughout the top and body with a range of geometric shapes within each one...

An interesting bronze mirror with its original lead handle. This is rare as most of the time the lead handles have been replaced because the original has disintegrated. Diameter 14 cm, Length 21 cm. Mounted on a museum quality stand.

Made in mid Java, hammered and chiseled copper or bronze, decorated with a kind of vase with flower branches. Diameter 40,5 cm. Very good condition and lovely patina. Only one tiny hole.

Important embossed high content (+800) silver bowl, superbly decorated with detailed legendary/religious characters in niches all around the body, surrounded and surmounted by foliage design and resting on a stylised lotus decor. Height: 9.8 cm, diameter 10.4 cm, weight: 259 gr. Burma, late 19th century. Excellent condition. Provenance: acquired from a Bangkok (Thailand) antique dealer in 1978.

Beautiful and Unusual antique Tibetan portable flint lock container. The "U" shaped brass body of a lidded box is chased and decorated with the "Wheel of Dharma." Backed with a metal belt loop used to fashion on ones belt. Container to store black powered and lead bullets for matchlock rifle.

Beautiful handcrafted Thai Silver Ceremonial Bowls with detailed repousse decor depicting scrolling and flowers in 5 different panels. Very fine workmanship,19th Century. 3 bowls available. Burmese silver ceremonial or monk's begging bowl. The exterior is decorated in repousse with a wide band of five mythological scenes with one figure and an elephant between foliage. Apparently unmarked. Condition: fine. Dimension: 13.8 cm diameter, 9.8 cm high, weight: 352 g.

A finely cast bronze priest's bell with a nice patina and sound, dating to the Late Central Javanese Period. The body resembling a stupa with floral ornaments and garlands. An ornately worked, chased and engraved jug with dancing Burmese figures in repoussé. The handle in the form of an ogre. The spout might be a later addition, it is only silver plated. Base engraved "Moung Oung Myal 1875". No mark, silver tested. Condition: the ogre of the handle with a small loss, otherwise fine. Dimension: 11 cm high, weight: 382 g.
