Beautiful and Unusual antique Tibetan portable flint lock container. The "U" shaped brass body of a lidded box is chased and decorated with the "Wheel of Dharma." Backed with a metal belt loop used to fashion on ones belt. Container to store black powered and lead bullets for matchlock rifle.

Important embossed high content (+800) silver bowl, superbly decorated with detailed legendary/religious characters in niches all around the body, surrounded and surmounted by foliage design and resting on a stylised lotus decor. Height: 9.8 cm, diameter 10.4 cm, weight: 259 gr. Burma, late 19th century. Excellent condition. Provenance: acquired from a Bangkok (Thailand) antique dealer in 1978.

The repousse brass on wood mortar with Kala heads. The iron pestle mounted with a hardwood kneeling figure. Ca. Late 19th to early 20th century. The mortar is 15 cm long, the pestle 29 cm.

Indonesian nickle silver box in the form of a fu dog with long fangs and its tongue sticking out, engraved spiral and wave patterns decorating the entire body. 20th century. Size: 6.26" height, 9" length

Made in mid Java, hammered and chiseled copper or bronze, decorated with a kind of vase with flower branches. Diameter 40,5 cm. Very good condition and lovely patina. Only one tiny hole.

An interesting bronze mirror with its original lead handle. This is rare as most of the time the lead handles have been replaced because the original has disintegrated. Diameter 14 cm, Length 21 cm. Mounted on a museum quality stand.

A 20th Century example of a tradition laos rain drum cast in bronze. Three frogs (12 altogether) on top with a twelve pointed star with continuing concentric circle with stamp decoration. The side has two short vines with a feaf design. snails representing water and fertility.

A globular flared body rises with four attached handles of frog design. Circular concentric pattern continues throughout the top and body with a range of geometric shapes within each one...

Large and massive brass Oil Lamp (5 wick burners), 19th Cent. condition: excellent, size: H. 72cm x 20.5cm diameter at base. We also have a smaller pair of the same period/design, size H. 26 cm x 10 cm at base. All in good condition.

A nice impressive size at 20.25” long, this all silver Thai tray features a wide raised edge with hand chased scrollwork and mythical birds. The scalloped rim has a beaded edge and this tray also has four small ball feet on the bottom. It is 85% silver and weighs 680 grams. Leather wallet embroidered with silver threads. The work is surprising, it is not an embroidery of the usual silver threads which are silk threads covered with a thin silver ribbon rolled up but real silver threads created by craftsmanship by stretching the metal at the "pulling bench". A very rare antique Buddhist miniature knife/dagger with a bronze gilt figure as handle, 19th Century, Thai or Burmese. The sheath is hand carved wood and has script on both sides.
