Leather wallet embroidered with silver threads. The work is surprising, it is not an embroidery of the usual silver threads which are silk threads covered with a thin silver ribbon rolled up but real silver threads created by craftsmanship by stretching the metal at the "pulling bench". On the enlarged photos you can appreciate the work and the section of the wires. There are thousands of them, it was a colossal job, the wallet is heavy. The arabesque decor surrounds Islamic characters...

Important embossed high content (+800) silver bowl, superbly decorated with detailed legendary/religious characters in niches all around the body, surrounded and surmounted by foliage design and resting on a stylised lotus decor. An unusually large size bronze rain drum from Laos, a Herger type three drum. Reference material “The Karen Bronze drum of Burma” by Richard M. Cooler. A large and rare Siamese reliquary urn in stupa-form, worked in repousse silver, the lid and the base filled with a sort of resin or clay. Condition: please look at the photos, dented, deformations, splits, few small losses. Dimension: height: c. 41 cm, weight: c. 1.1 kg.

A Dayak sword - Mandau - with rattan bound deer antler handle in the form of a finely carved zoomorphic (possibly deer's) head. The iron blade is engraved with stylized scrolling vine decoration. This item was made (and used) during either the 19th or very early 20th Century. Condition: very good, but the sword is without its scabbard and the bade has seen much use, having many nicks to the cutting edge; also much of the decorative brass inlay to the blade is missing...

Beautiful and Unusual antique Tibetan portable flint lock container. The "U" shaped brass body of a lidded box is chased and decorated with the "Wheel of Dharma." Backed with a metal belt loop used to fashion on ones belt. Container to store black powered and lead bullets for matchlock rifle.
