An antique set of four Indonesian betel nut cutters. Three of the smaller cutters are made with mixed metals and iron; One with the head of a goose, one with the head of a serpent, and one shaped as a peacock. The largest of the set is hand-carved into a playful dog.

Fine Burmese silver box, lid decorated with a male figure surrounded by floral design in high relief descending by geometric design, all 8 sides are also decorated with two female figures and animal cartuches and the base containing calligraphy, late 19th/ early 20th century period. Size; Measurements of silver box are 3.75"L x 2.75"D x 3"H. Condition Report; Excellent condition.

This is an 18th century, or early 19th century Balinese iron buckle, decorated with serpent motifs with gold inlay. There is some age-related rubbing with associated loss to the inlay, as would be expected. There is an inlaid calligraphic inscription to the back of the "fastener," which I have not had translated. The pieces measure, variously, 2-5/8" X 2-1/2" for the buckle, and 2-1/2" X 1-1/2" for the "fastener." The listing is for both pieces.

A quite large figural silver betel box worked in repousse depicting a reclining, decorated elephant. Base marked "T90%" and Chinese character mark. Condition: traces of usage, few small nicks. Dimension: 18.5 cm long x 11.5 cm high, weight: 256 g.

An ornately worked, chased and engraved jug with dancing Burmese figures in repoussé. The handle in the form of an ogre. The spout might be a later addition, it is only silver plated. Base engraved "Moung Oung Myal 1875". No mark, silver tested. Condition: the ogre of the handle with a small loss, otherwise fine. Dimension: 11 cm high, weight: 382 g.
