A historical example from Hongzhi reign (1488-1506) in Ming Dynasty. The censer decorated with under glazed cobalt painting depicting two figural scenes: "Worship the Moon" and "Carrying a Qin to Visit Friends". This censer used to be the collection of National Museum of Philippines, There is another identical one in the collection of National Museum of China in Beijing. The inside is emerald green with flower decor and a center medallion, whereas the outside depicts 4 alternative Norasingh and Kinaree medallions and a Famille Noire background. Good condition, shiny glaze preserved and the top rim is nicely banded in bronze. 1 very small, minor and inconsequential firing hairline on top rim, only noticeable upon close inspection....
