Chogappo made of fragments of choma (ramie), one of bast fibers, which is recycled from vegetable indigo dyed choma, and it has beautiful nuance of different indigo colors. Pojagi is the general name for the wrapping cloth and "chogappo" is one kind of pojagi which is patchworked with asa (choma or hemp) fragments. Two daggers incised with dragon, phoenix each dagger and seven stars incised on both daggers, and 4 characters and 2 characters on each dagger. Both daggers housed in a wood and metal single sheath. It is in very good condition with metals patinated. It measures 36cm with in a sheath, or 34cm only dagger.

19th Century Korean Silver Enamel Samjak Norigae with Tassel & Coral Beads for Hanbok Dress Accessory

The circular tile is unusually thick and heavy, finely molded with a symbol of flower head surround by stylish sharp lotus, and traces white likely cement on surfaces.
