A creation of Morishige Tetsuyo, a native of the famous potting town of Hagi who later studied in Kyoto and eventually took up a position at the family kiln “Renkozan” with tutelage from both his father and grandfather. This particular piece is from a series he began in 2009 aptly named “Kaben” (The petal series)...

Perfect Shino Natsu tea bowl (Summer tea bowl) made by one of the most popular Japanese actors and artists, Kazuo Hayashi. He was born in 1945 and is affiliated with Theater Echo. He is also skilled in Buyō and pottery. Ceramics of him are rarely available.
