Carefully printed with embossing and shomen-zuri, laid down at upper corners. Condition: fine, only paper mats with few short tears. Dimension: sheet: 27.8 cm x 21 cm, image: 25.7 cm x 19.3 cm, folder: 35.5 cm x 26.2 cm.

Shigenobu (Hiroshige II) 1826-1869. The oban tate-e triptych depicts Minamoto no Yorimitsu, Sakata no Kintoki and Watanabe no Tsuna entering the mountain home of the demons. Circa 1851-1853. Image size about 17"V x 10"H (paper size: 17 7/8"V x 11 1/4"H). Very good color and overall condition. There is a small piece of tape remnant at the upper back margin edge verso. It does not show through on the front. There is a tiny bit of tape residue at the bottom edge and at the side margin. Both show through to the front very slightly...
