Antique Japanese woodblock print of two large goldfish swimming near a bird and flowering branch. The print is a book illustration from page nine as noted by the character in the lower lefthand border.

Original woodblock print by Helen Hyde entitled "Baby Talk". One of her most famous prints. The print has "Copyright 1908 by Helen Hyde" printed within the lower left hand oval border. Fine impression and color. The title, "Baby Talk" and the print number - 178, are written in pencil. There is also the number and 64281 written in pencil below the lower middle border. The paper measures 21" wide and 13 1/2" tall. The print measures 18 3/4" wide by 12" tall.

With Taft weighing in at over 300 lbs., this print is likely offering a subtle comparison between Taft and the wrestler. This print is unsigned and undated. 14 3/4"V x 10 3/8"H. Very good color and impression quality. Good overall condition with pigment transference at the upper left corner, some minor soiling, and a few small holes and thinned areas...

Antique Japanese woodblock print of Court Ladies Sewing Western Clothing. This print is originally from a triptych by Yoshu (Hashimoto) Chickanobu, 1838-1912. A lady in waiting to the empress, demonstrates western style techniques for sewing and cutting cloth. The woman wears a fitted French style mantelet. During the Meiji period, noble ladies were encouraged to wear western wear to demonstrate to foreign visitors that Japan was of equal standing with other nations...

Antique Japanese painting of a Goju-no-to, five storied pagoda of the typical Japanese Buddhist temple. The pagoda is decorated using Kanji with a repeated sutra and other passages. Horin, the nine rings atop the pagoda are each a symbol. It measures 21.25" by 10.13". Some signs of age. Painted in sumi ink on paper. Meiji period 1868-1912.
