Antique Japanese tall stone sekitō (pagoda) with five tiers. Made of granite and carved in 9 stacking pieces. The central square section is carved with a seated Buddha on four sides. The top spire is carved with 9 tiers between lotus petals. The surface has a beautiful patina and is covered with areas lichen and moss.

A subtle bisque figure of Kwan Yin done by the Rengetsu studio. A seal and signature is found on the back of the statue. Statue comes with a box with the inscription stating: Byakue Kannon (white robed Kwan yin) Rengetsu zo ( Produced by Rengetsu) Age: Late 19th century -early 20th century. A cute dog Fushimi doll. The dog has an interesting collar possibly in the form of a fabric collar, often seen with domesticated animals portrayed in Japanese paintings. Antique Japanese Satsuma pottery group of three fu-dogs wrestling. Each of the three seems to be attacking another in this playful scene. A medium sized fu-dog lays with it's back on the ground, fending off the largest of the group who, in turn, has a smaller fu-dog biting his ear. The overall modeling gives off a feeling of whimsical turmoil and one can almost hear the playful snarls as they bite at each other's ears and toes...

Very rare. Simple wooden zushi with a figure of Fudo Myoo sitting on a high rock before a flaming halo. In his right hand he holds a sword, in his left a rope.
On lower levels of the rock formation sits Seitaka doji, holding his scarf in his left hand and a (now missing) club in his right, and stands Kongara doji, holding a lotus flower in his hands.

The fur is white with random black and orange patches. This tri-coloring is considered especially lucky. This is a rare, well-modeled and detailed 19th Century Japanese Arita Porcelain Elephant. It is based upon an outstanding 1680 Japanese Kakiemon model, which in turn, was derived from Chinese prototypes. This piece is enameled in red and cobalt with yellow accents. The lantern section is similar in style to a hanging lantern with it's curling warabite corner roof and pointed finial over a hollow hexagonal light box. This style of ishidoro originates from the Kasuga shrine and for that reason it could also be called a Kasuga-doro. Edo/Meiji Period...
