The image depicts a green goddess (perhaps Green Tara, the Goddess of Compassion) in tantric embrace with a white Ganesha, the Hindu Remover of Obstacles. The Sun and Moon inhabit the sky at the same time above them. 1998. Signed by Mayumi Oda in pencil. Framed. Total size in frame: 29 1/4" high x 23 1/4" wide. Size of art: 17 1/2" high x 10 3/4" wide.

Original Kanda Gallery frame with non-glare glass measuring 32 3/4” x 22 1/2." The print has not been examined out of the frame, but no condition problems are visible.

“I am here” she whispers as the bespectacled gentleman pours the last drops from his bottle and says “I am going home”…a lithograph by Kei Hiraga numbered 50/120 and signed Key Hiraga ’88 with the artist’s seal in red. The paper sheet, matted and framed, measures 50.5 x 42 cm (20 x 16-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition. This is an superb example of his work, showing both his eros and playful nature in the abstracted figuration for which he is most remembered...

"Barn and House" framed etching and aquatint print by Tanaka Ryohei. The Japanese artist is best known for his intricate prints of rural Japan. This print is most striking in it's simplified, dramatic composition. The roofs are pictured from the side against the black sky. Signed in pencil and numbered 60 of 120. Dated 1993.

The title in kanji and the number 630 is at the bottom left margin. Paper: 10 3/16" x 11 7/8" (image: 6 1/2" x 8"). Very good overall condition with only a tiny bend in the very edge of the upper left margin. Never framed.

Japanese limited edition copperplate etching titled “Kyoto #7: Kozan-ji” by Tanaka Ryohei (1933-2019). Pencil-signed, dated '96, and numbered 141/150 in the lower margin. The title in kanji is at the bottom left margin. Paper: 11 5/8" x 10 1/4" (image: 6 3/8" x 8"). Very good overall condition with a possible faintly visible smudge in the upper left margin corner. There are a few distressed fibers on the back, but the print does not appear to have been previously framed.

Japanese 20th century print of the Treasure Ship on the River of Our Mind 32/50 by Mayumi Oda. Mayumi Oda is a contemporary artist who studied fine art and traditional fabric dying at the Tokyo University of Fine Arts. She is known by many as the Matisse of Japan. A young maiden, playing a stringed instrument, rides on a dragon shaped ship loaded with treasures. The ship floats along orange waves. The print has red and orange pigment with golden clouds and other gold accents...

Green print of Earthship by Mayumi Oda. Print 16/100. A woman sails in a ship with an owl atop her head and a boat full of vegetables. Below the ship, in the ocean a sea turtle and a whale swim by. The sun smiles down upon the woman in the ship. It measures 11.75" wide 19" tall.

The Heart Sutra with Taro by Mayumi Oda. The paper is green with a sutra printed. A sutra is a formula or rule for life. A tree with large leaves and a frog are outlined by a silver spray. It measures 38.5" wide 12.25" tall. 28/50.

N'aie Pas Peur by Mayumi Oda. N'aie pas peur translates has have not fear, the piece is also known as The Black Madonna. A mother and child stand together under a golden mandorla. The mother is Mary, mother of Jesus, she holds a white lily. This is print 7/50.

Mayumi Oda print 15/66, the title is painted in black on black, "Mother Help Us Outgrow Our Madness and Fear". A female form holds a baby and is preparing to feed it. Signed, titled and numbered at the bottom. Red Stamp.

A large contemporary print by artist Tanaka Ryohei. Scene of a garden gate opening to the rising morning sun, a green grasshopper crawling along the latch. Signed in pencil, numbered 69/100 in it series, dated 2001.
