Japanese late 19th or early 20th century bronze OKIMONO of a ram done in the style of Imperial Court artist, ISHIKAWA KOUMEI or MITSUAKI. The ram is done in fine detail. The OKIMONO is signed on the bottom by the artist, KOUMEI. The OKIMONO measures 10 1/4" wide, 7" deep and 7 1/8" tall.

Japanese 20th Century cylindrical vase by Living National Treasure KANAMORI EIICHI (1908-2001). KANAMORI was recognized for his metal inlay work and was considered to be the very best at this craft. The vase has a simple yet elegant design of a single tulip outlined in inlaid silver. The tulip is done in a rusty red color. The vase stands 9 7/8" tall by 3 5/16" wide at the top rim. An antique Japanese bronze Buddhist temple bell called Bonsho with a carrying handle depicting diverging dragon heads called Ryuzu. The upper protrusions called Chi or Nyu improves the resonance of the sound when struck. Antique Japanese Buddhist candle holder with long handle. Made of bronze and incised all over with an octopus vine motif. The chalice shaped stand sits on a chrysanthemum shaped foot and has a candle pricket that is hinged so it closes when not in use. A long handle is attached to one side so it can be carried.
