A Japanese sterling silver vase with engraved and embossed decoration of two roses. Base with "jungin" mark, the side with engraved signature. On a pierced Chinese wooden stand. Condition: the visible side fine, but the reverse with several dents. Dimension: vase 19.4 cm high, height with stand: 23.3 cm, weight: 376 g.

Japanese Meiji to Taisho period vase in the form of a gourd tied in a bow at the mid-section with a braided and tassled rope. The signature appears to translate as Tsunemo. 7" high. Weighing 2 lbs. 8 1/2 ounces, the vase is very heavy for its size. Early 20th century. Very good overall condition with a nice patina. From an old Tucson, Arizona estate.

A pair of red and silver iron lotus flowers with long handles serving as Buddhist candle-stands, the light rising from within the sacred flower. Overall raw iron, the coloration of the flower petals is from silver and red lacquer. Each is 26.5 cm (10-1/2 inches) long and in excellent condition.
