This is a beautiful Japanese cloisonne Vase from the 1920's. It was created with a profusion skilled of work. It was made by Hayashi or Ando. It stands 9 3/4 inches tall and is 4 3/4 wide. Rims are silver and stamped. Bottom rim a tiny indentation in the silver but this vase is in outstanding condition.

This is a beautiful small cloisonne vase decorated with with 7 butterflies of different sizes. Stands 4 3/4 inches tall. It is stamped Japan on base so it was probably made sometime between 1920& 1930. The enamel colors and style look like a few Ando pieces we have had from this time period. Condition is excellent with just wear to the rim coatings

Japanese wood and lacquer cloisonne document box. The ground features a carved lacquered tree bark design. Applied cloisonne flowers with a butterfly were achieved by using gold tone metal wires which were filled with colored lacquer and then hand polished. In excellent antique condition, it measures 13.25 inches long, 4.75" high, 2.25" high. Photos do not due justice to this large box, you will not be disappointed. Circa 1900's

This is a very rare and wonderful Japanese Cloisonne box. There are a wide variety of enamel colors and designs making this a very unique piece. The designs, mottled and translucent enamel colors strongly suggest that Honda is the artist. The rims are also Bronze and appear to have never been silver plated. Condition is excellent. There is minor scuffing to the bottom corners. The box measures 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is 2 1/4 tall

An early and rare Japanese copper plaque showing a bird on a prunus mume twig, worked in dull colored cloisonné enamels, the reverse with green contre-émail. The former owner attributed this artwork to an artist of the "Japonisme Movement". Condition: bubble bursts, a hairline (see photo No. 5). Dimension: 20.3 cm x 20.3 cm x 0.3 cm.

This is a very fine unsigned Japanese cloisonne vase with a unique form. The enamel and wire work are exquisite. It is not signed but the quality is so good and so unique that the maker is Hayashi. Look at the last image of a signed 3 3/4 inch vase and compare them. The work on this vase is not only similar, the gold wire birds, unique spider mums and leaves on this vase are even smaller in size...

This is a large and extremely rare Japanese Cloisonne vase. Though unsigned this vase was clearly created by Ogasawara Shuzo. As the images show this is a fabulous example of Meiji Era art. The vase measures 15 1/4 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide. Condition is outstanding but there is a tiny short line, of about 3/8 inch near the base.

The is a very rare large Koi vase created by a master. The koi are large and much finer than most ever seen on this style of vase. The vase is 9 1/2 tall and 11 1/4 inches wide. Rims are silver with an old Jungin stamp. Condition of this vase is excellent.

This is an extremely rare cloisonne masterpiece. It was created by one of the great Meiji artists, Ogasawara Shuzo. It is also a very large piece for cloisonne, at 14 3/4 inches wide and 7 tall. It probably weighs over 10 lbs. The entire dragon is raised relief. This is an eye catching piece that truly belongs in a Museum. Condition is excellent.

This is a very unusual Japanese Cloisonne vase that looks more like a porcelain blue and white vase. The vase has a mix of silver wire and wireless enamel work. The vase is heavy and has a nice glossy sheen. The rims have an unusual dark chocolate patina to them. It stands 9 5/8 inches tall and is 6 1/2 inches wide. Overall condition is very good but there are two short lines in the narrow white area just above the scroll on the base.

This is a beautiful large Cloisonne vase from Japan. Besides the wire and wireless designs in the bamboo and rooster, the color of the ground color changes from top down to the bottom. The vase stands 12 inches tall and is not quite 6 inches wide. It has on minor flaw that could be factory and it is shown in the last image. It is an odd short line, that is difficult to see in the enamel under the bamboo leaves. A great piece that was probably made by Gonda or Ando.

This is a fine cloisonne enamel vase from the Meiji Period. Though more simplistic than many of his pieces, We believe this was vase made by Hayashi. I There are plenty of image and viewer can make up their own mind. The birds are well done and each is designed with gold wires. The difficult scroll under the top rim is also similar to Hayashi's work. The vase stands 6 inches tall and condition is excellent.

This is a small but very beautiful little vase from the Meiji Era. It is highly detailed and except for the leaves and branches, it was done in the basse-taille styl. The glowing cobalt color is even more intense in person. best in the last image. This vase stands just 2 1/2 inches tall and is 1 3/4 inches wide. It has silver rims and is signed on the bottom Kawaguchi Bunzaeoman.
