Late 19th / early 20th Century Dimensions: 11" x 11" x 2" (15 1/2" on stand) Altar dedicated to Hanuman, the Hindu semi-god, carved in openwork relief to represent Hanuman standing with a martial attitude, carrying a club in his left hand and an uprooted tree in his right hand, and trampling a supine figure, probably a demon.
