Up for sale is a rare antique Chinese dragon roundel rank badge taken from an imperial family member's dragon robe for wedding or festive occasion, most likely the empress's. 19th century Qing dynasty embroidered with a 5-claw dragon, clouds, bats, seawaves, buddhist auspicious symbols against a red silk satin ground; very intricate embroideries and in excellent condition ! Diameter = 20" ( 51cm )

SOLD Antique Chinese pair of square hardwood tables. Each table is inset with a large square porcelain panel which sits into the top and is removable. The panels are glazed with scrolling vines and flowers with bats in the corners on a greenish blue ground. Each table has a solid shelf and swirling aprons.
Late 19th Century Dimensions: 27" high x 25" wide x 25" deep. Rare type of Han amphora, made of red pottery de orated with bronze appliques. H. 19,5 cm. Very good condition, no traces of repairs. Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD).
A hair ornament made of gilt silver, showing a vase with flowers. Reverse with Chinese character hallmark. Condition: fine, little wear to gilding. Dimension: 11.5 cm long x 2 cm wide, weight: 8 g.
Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Pottery Buddhist Zodiac Jar
This very rare and attractively-shaped pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. The jar has been decorated with four large lotus leaf panels within which are moulded and applied human figures and zodiac animals. The pottery is quite “brittle” and there are minor losses to the vulnerable edges... Made of grey pottery, covered with a white layer of paint, decorated with bright red and black pigments. Figures of this very large size are rare and were only made for royalty and high nobility. The figure was made in two parts, the head was connected with the body by a wooden pin, which is of course now gone and replaced by a carboard roll. Condition: wear to the painting, the figure is covered in soil, traces of plant roots...

2 of the 3 sides of the piece have carefully repouse Tibetan symbols..no makers marks...a few tiny dents ...no loss.
It was brought back from Tibet by a man who went on a long walkabout from Istanbul to Tibet back in the late 60's...China was not open at the time...and Tibet ..he traveled with a backpack,limited space,few small momentoes and he was picky...old pieces only...

The figure is of a military attendant, wearing a hat and carrying a book or a map under his arm. He wears a blue robe with turqoise sleaves. The unglazed areas are covered with white and black pigmented colors. Note that the painting is very detailed and includes wonderful gthick and perfectly rendered facial features. A very large figure, measuring c. 40 x 30 cm... An xxl superb 64 cm high male attendant carrying a teapot in his arms. The figure is decorated with red, black and white pigmented colors. The glazed areas are held in green and yellow sancai colors. It dates to the Ming Dynasty 1368-1644 AD.

SOLD ! Thanks to Indonesia ! An excellently potted and fine and brilliantly enamelled bottle vase with "Shou Characters", bats and branches with peaches. Iron red six character Guangxu Mark and Period of Guangxu ( 1875 - 1908 ). H.: 16,3 cm. Diameter : 9,3 cm. Condition : Perfect.
Made of painted wood, depicting husband and wife, seated on a chair. Most probably from the Hunan Province. The lady still has a small parcel with offerings in her back. We opened it up and found a seahorse, pieces of stone and mica and other materials. H. 27 and 29,5 cm. Condition: heavily eaten by woodworms, which adds to the charme. The figures were treated by the former owner and are perfectly clean.
Made of red pottery, covered with a white layer of slib, then painted. Tang Dynasty (618-907). Height 34,5 cm. Condition: expected age wear, overall in good condition. A thermoluminescence-test from Kotalla confirms the dating of this figure and is included in the sale.
