The red silk ground if heavy weight gauze, and the embroidery is executed in brick stitch techniques; very fine work! The black order trims are embroidered with flowers and butterflies; It has 4 gilt toggle loop buttons...

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty 19th century Han Chinese woman's silk robe embroidered with butterflies and peonies, sea waves on the bottom, executed in forbidden or seed stitch and couched gold thread techniques ( not appliqued ); smooth mid-night blue silk ground, together with 14 foo dogs on the sleeves bands; Collar and border trims are embroidered with flowers and butterflies; inside backed with green silk damask lining...

Chinese box padlock with key, made of brass, probably c 1900. Finely engraved with a bird and a dragon, a bridge and a cottage. Length "1 ¾ / 4.3 cm. Condition: fine.

A blue and white gravy jug or creamer, Chinese export porcelain, c 1830. The hand painted decoration of pagodas in a seascape is cut off on both sides of the handle, mimicking the competitive English porcelain factories, where this was an obvious downside of the new and rational method of printing. Width "5 ¼ / 13, height with handle "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: a glaze bubble under the spout (cf. last pic).

1950's Chinese 14K Gold Coral & Lapis Lazuli Carved Beads with Calligraphy Necklace

It is 27.95 inches (71 cm) in circumference by 12.8 inches (32.5 cm) long. . The lapis lazuli beads range from 10.8 mm to 12.27 mm wide. The coral beads range from 11.8 mm to 13.45 mm wide. The total weight is 101.5 gram.

1930's Chinese Gilt Cloisonne carved Jar Marked Lao Tian Li 老天利制

It is 4.6 inches (11.8 cm) tall by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide. It weighs 0.9 Lb.

A large, Museum Quality tomb pottery figure of a female attendant. Se carries a dish in front of her chest.

The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both are in fine deep cobolt blue and turquiose coloured glaze, as is the robe.

Her hair is styled very artfully and her head has finely hand painted facial details...

Lovely pair of small Chinese ginger jars measuring only 5.5 inches high including finial and 3.5" in diameter. They feature a beautiful crackle glaze with a polychrome scene depicting warriors in the Battle of the 3 Kingdoms. These jars were last used as a antique decorative item on top of a diminutive slant top writing desk in a NYC Park Avenue Apartment before the family retired to NC.
