Antique Chinese Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644, wooden figure. The figure is wearing a red robe with gold leaf. The robe is patterned with clouds and dragons. The face retains the facial hair. The back has a carved rectangular opening where the figure would have held sacred texts, imbuing to it a spiritual life. It measures 26" tall. Lacquered pedestal base is included to hold the figure upright.

Chinese jade beaded necklace from the early to mid 20th century. The beads are a beautiful green jade. The beads are 9 mm in diameter. 27.25" long.

Porcelain polychrome statue of the noted sage, Liu Hai. Liu Hai was the noted 10th century alchemist who learned the secret of immortality from the three legged frog, Jin chan (Chan chu). The frog is known for beckoning wealth. Later, in China and Japan, the combination of Liu Hai and the frog became the symbol of fortune and wealth. Chinese Quan Yin from the second half of the 20th century. It is made of rare aromatic Cheng Xiang wood. The figure stands statuesque and unperturbed atop a turbulent sea holding a string of beads. The robes drape gently down the figure and almost flutter in the wind. It measures 16" tall, base 5" diameter.

Chinese huang huali box from the mid 20th century. The box is beautifully decorated with dragons on the front doors and the top. The top of the box and doors open to reveal an open compartment and four drawers. The box has handles on either side. The piece is fitted with bronze metal hardware. It measures 14" wide 9.5" deep 13.5" tall.

Chinese monochrome porcelain vase in a lovely ox-blood red with a narrow neck and elegant body. Mark on bottom reads Da Qing Kangxi Nian Zhi - "Great Qing dynasty Kangxi Period Make" Size: 7.5" height, 3.5" width

Chinese porcelain vase in a monochrome shade of lilac with a very feminine shape, especially around the mouth which has a flower-like form to it. The neck has a raised ring going around it. Mark on bottom reads "Da Qing Yongzheng Nian Zhi - Great Qing dynasty Yongzheng Period Make". Size: 7" height, 3.75" width

Antique Chinese Sung pottery burial jar traditionally used to house the ashes of the deceased, in a very light blue crackle glaze with bare foot. The lid is topped with a large crane shaped finial. Complete footed cast bronze Hu (wine container), terminating curved and bulbous contour flaring on square mouth. Banded edge and lidded square cover. Has a slight apex top with four serpentine shaped mounted on a terminal bends. The ring handles of the hu measures 2 1/2" diameter with loped and mounted on a taotie mask which is molded in low relief...

Chinese tomb pottery figure of an foreign army general. He stands confidently with chin up and arms bent. His fists are clenched and most likely he once wielded a spear or weapon of some sort. His armor is elaborately carved with swirling motifs and he wears a helmet with round finial. His eyes are wide and his teeth are defined in an intense expression. He is sculpted with great care and traces of slip pigment are still apparent where he was once painted...
