Fine Chinese Qianlong 18th Century Imari Porcelain Dish

This fine-quality porcelain dish with attractive floral pattern in underglaze blue, red enamel and gilding, was made during the 18th century, most likely during the Qianlong reign (1736 - 1795). The underside has a simple underglaze blue decoration and there is a brown iron wash around the rim edge to prevent "fritting" of the glaze during firing...

Large blue and white teacup of ogee shape and saucer bowl, in the Fitzhugh pattern. Chinese export porcelain from the early years of the 19th century, c 1810-20. Diameter of saucer "6 ¼ / 16 cm and of cup "4 ½ / 11 cm. Condition: the cup with two short hairlines and a nick to the mouth rim.

Chinese Export Famille Rose and Blue deep Saucer Dish, Mother and Children in the Courtyard playing, Ca. 18th Century, Qianlong Period, 4 5/8" diameter, 3/4" high, overglaze Famille Rose design of mother and children in the courtyard with dog in the center, incised white flowers and leaves wrapped by underglaze blue many small circle design of cartouches. Tiny bubble popped in the kiln during firing on the upper right side about smaller than 1/16" wide, other than that the condition is good.

Chinese export Imari plate, early 18th c. Outer border of scroll-work, the well with a bird and a blossoming tree motif within a diaper border, all in under-glaze blue and iron red and gilt over the glaze. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: some wear to the well and a 2 mm nick or glaze burst to the rim (cf. photos).

Chinese Imari plate, late Kangxi to Yongzheng, early 18th century. Decoration of a fisherman and a pagoda in a mountainous seascape within diaper borders, all in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gilt. Diameter "9/ 23 cm. Condition: some roughness to the rim and small spots of wear to the well.

A blue and white dish or bowl, depicting a garden wall and rocks with peony, bamboo and prunus. China, mid Qianlong period. Made for the European market, the well surrounded by a Rococo scroll border. Diameter "8 ½ / 21.2 and height"1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: rim frits and wear to the well (cf. pics).

DESCRIPTION: A beautiful octagonal pill (or snuff) box, the top with silver filigree wire work around inset coal stones forming the shape of a five-petal flower. The box itself is silver over copper and on the inside is stamped “Made in China.” Amazingly, the original Frost Bros. retail tag remains on the inside. Beautiful Chinese famille rose butterfly pattern export porcelain cup and saucer with hard-to-find fluted edges. In excellent condition, no cracks, no chips, no hairlines, etc. The set measures 3" high with the saucer measuring 5.5" diameter, cup 3.75" diameter. Circa 1850

A Famille Rose enamelled figure of a lady made in China for export to Europe circa 1780-1800 during the reign of either the Qianlong or Jiaqing emperors. Condition - the head has broken off and been re-glued; one earring is missing and there are small chips to the yellow head dress and to three finger tips. There has been no restoration...

Artistically hand painted antique Chinese plate of medium size. The piece has the Rose Medallion or Mandarin Rose pattern. Two of the segments show people in characteristic Chinese costumes and the other two are showing richly painted birds and flowers. This is real Chinese porcelain of the 19th century, and not the modern reproductions.

A small lidded jar or bowl, Kangxi period, c 1700. Clobbered in iron red, green, black and gilt over the original under-glaze blue decoration, for the European (Dutch?) market. The base with an “Asian” seal mark in iron red. Height, including lid "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: the lid with some rubbing to the gilt, otherwise fine.

Pair Chinese Export porcelain Famille Rose with Cafe au Lait glazed Dishes, early Qianlung period, 1736-1796, 5 1/8" diameter, 3/4" high, decorated with large butterfly in the center with floral branches with bird and butterflies in overglaze enamel, and molded as a honeycomb and scalloped edge rim. Painted - clobbered - probably in Holland for the European market, in iron red, green, pink, black and gilt over the original under-glaze blue decoration. The base with a pseudo-Chinese seal mark in iron red. Height, including lid "4 1/2/ 11 cm. Condition: repair to the lid (cf. photos), otherwise fine.

Chinese Export Rose Mandarin low relief and open design Porcelain Brush Pot, 4 1/2" high, 2 1/2" diameter, Ca. 1830, with molded and low relief design of Chinese Scholars in the garden scene, raised design in overglaze enamel decoration. Glaze star crack on the bottom and two(2) stains on unglazed bottom rim. Some kiln bubbles popped on the gilded top rim which is somewhat worn from the usage.
