A very fine antique Chinese archaic green jade carving of a beast. It's head has barred teeth and is turned to look backward over it's haunches to which are attached wing-like structures or a kind of stylized saddle. The unusual and thick tail twists and spirals in a circle and the feet rest on a sleigh-like pierced base. Early 19th Century, origin China, very good condition with no cracks or repairs. Size: L. 7 cm. x H. 4.75 cm. Rare!

A finely carved Green Jadeite Jade dome lidded Tripod Censer with handles, animal heads and loops as well as a foo lion on the top cover which is removable. Condition: good overall. Size: 13 cm. diameter (5.25"). 19th Century. Nice quality/colour Jade!

Statue of Guanyu, the general of Liu Bei, which was transformed into the famous Guangong, the Taoist God of War. Guanyu is shown here in full military garb, with helmet and armor, sitting on an elevated throne. Votive box at the back, still closed. Wood, with remnants of superimposed painting, lacquering and gilding. China, 19th century. Height: 24.7 cm. Painting and lacquering partly flaked, otherwise very good condition.

A Finely carved GENUINE BLACK JADEITE JADE Pendant, QING DYNASTY, depicting a Dragon and Scrolling. 18/19th Century, China. Good condition. Has a small hole on top for hanging. Size: 2" x 1.75"

Small Buddhist lion in almost solid cast bronze. The object is heavy. Beautiful active and fierce expression. Details meticulously chiselled with precision. It is probably work from Vietnam or South China. A very beautiful bronze patina announces a 19th century period or before. Underneath there is no fastening mark, so it was not the grip button of a lid. Not a weight either because part of the underside is hollow. Hight: 6cm. Fine condition.

Mounted Buddha Head from Tuv Aimag, Northern Mongolia. 18th Century. This region of Mongolia had quite a number of Yellow Hat Sect Tibetan temples, but most were sadly destroyed when it became the world's second communist country in 1924.Therefore difficult to find such nice specimens. Massive Chinese late Qing dynasty finely carved root wood figural group mounted on a tripod root wood stand featuring the immortal Li Tieguai (“Iron Crutch Li”) in a dancing pose at the center flanked by two immortals. Li Tieguai holds an unidentified object in one hand while the attendants each hold a peach. Arms, legs, some heads, and the figures themselves can all be removed from the stand to facilitate shipping. Circa 1900. 52” high. Good overall condition...

Description:

A limestone stone carving was well performed by sleek cutting edges.
A crouching lion on the top, the stone weight was an original isolated piece as we can believe.
Most of the surface was calcified into grayish white tint.
It was an obvious characteristic for a stone piece what had been stored in a seal-up chamber, maybe under a temple.
The true color of the stone was revealed underside in darken tint...
