Unsigned acrylic/oil portrait of a woman worker acquired from a Hong Kong auction. I am assuming this was painted while China and Russia were still friends so would date this pre 1960. Good example of Socialist Realism (girl meets tractor) kitsch, W: 35cm/13.8in and H: 45.cm/17.8in.

A scholar's Yixing brush washer with a white crackle glaze interior. On the exterior raised in high relief and enameled decorated are two quilong chasing the flaming pearl. In excellent condition, it measures 4" diameter by 1.25 inches high. Dates circa 1880.

Chinese calligraphy brush pot, all hand-carved from bamboo. The low relief carvings depict a group of scholars riding in a boat through a rocky landscape scene with hanging pine branches. The rendering is similar to ink painting. Has subtle silver inlay in the river.

The ink inscription at the upper left states the painting was executed in the guimao year (1843) after Ming artist Tang Yin (1470-1524). Intricately hand carved wood brush pot with various scenes of Chinese daily life by Chinese artist Shuyuan Zhang of Shunyi Beijing, China. In excellent original condition, it measures 5 1/8 inches high x 4" diameter. Dates pre 1980.

Description : A wood carving was nicely done by openwork.
It is in a scene in good metaphor of 送子娘娘, a deity bringing child down to a family from clouds above.

Date: 18th Century Qing Dynasty.

A rare inkstone was found from a famous painter and scholar of Qing Dynasty - Zen-Yu 曾燠（AD1759-1830) .
The inscriptions on the inkstone were as follows : Dauguang 6th year (1826) Nan-chen, Zen-Yu(道光六年南城曾燠) .
On the reverse side, the motif of a crouching deer was well carved.

A Ming Inkstone was in simple rectangular form and was in decent look.
In characteristic Ming scholar mood, the inkstone was made from the unique Pudding stone.

A very rare and unusual large Chinese scroll painting done in the Japanese style of a bird in a cage with a bamboo tree and netting. Some gold leaf work on the leaves. The wooden weight on the bottom of the scroll has carved bone tips. Comes with original signed box. Age: 19th century. Size: L.213.5cm. W.44cm. Condition: Very good. No repairs.
