A Chinese hanging scroll portraying a group of lotuses set in a marsh-like environment with a butterfly flying over the flowers. The work contains a seal and signature of the noted artist, Qi Baishi (1864-1957). Qi Baishi became famous through his independent studies in Chinese painting and his energetic brush strokes and styles evolved Chinese art in the 20th century. Chinese fan painting on paper by Zhu Meicun (born 1911) depicting a solitary figure at the lower right seated among rockery and pines. The left side of the fan bears the artist's signature and red seal. The painting is dated above the signature in Chinese cycle years summer of "ping xu" (1946). Description: An old ivory plaque was decorated with archaic scrolling Chilong(DRAGON) pattern in against position on both sides.On the rims, fret pattern was regularly carved. Description: A precious inkstone was newly excavated in perfect condition. Carved exquisitely on the surface of the cover with typical motifs of cranes' pine trees, creek and clouds, the instone was shaped in square Cha-Sou type and in three parts. Twin decks of ink pools were rarely find when the inkstone was made of precious Xer stone. With beautiful dark gray tint, brownish incursions were spread all over the surface. A rare piece was in full authentification...

Waisted cylindrical form scholar's huanghuali wood brush pot with a slightly raised flat base and three low rounded feet. The feet, base and rim are finished with a finely executed narrow raised band. Description: An old wood incense utensil's holder was intriguingly carved from one original wood trunk. Making use the fine quality Huali wood, the scholar piece was rendered delicately on the top around the rims of the hole and around the top. Being preserved with the original old patina, the wood scholar item was in good size of 16.3cm in height and in perfect condition. Date: Qing dynasty(19th century), Height: 16.3cm. A Triad Blac De Chine Guanyin Statue was beautifully rendered.
In elegant sitting posture the holy deity was accompanied with two attendants in front of the throne.
And on the rocky stands beside her, there's a purity vase on the right and a holy hawk sitting on the left.
Serene and peaceful in mood, her features were well depicted when the flowing robe and the beaded rosary was carved in a fine craftsmanship.
Yellowish green tint was reflected at the pleats ...

Description:

An old stone box was beautifully carved on the cover with a five-clawed swirling Dragon and with cloud pattern at the basin.
By a well rendered craftsmanship, the covered box was in a magnificent mood by its astonishing image.
Kept in perfect condition and darken patina, there’re only minor defects found at the whiskeys and at one of the corners of the cover.
