Antique chinese bronze figure of a child from the Ching dynasty, 18-19th century. The child is resting atop a cloak, barefoot. He wears a hat on his back of a traditional woven style. His hair is tied in the traditional knots, heavy. It measures 4" tall by 3" wide.

Chinese small bronze tripod incenser in the form of a peach. With tall cylindrical tripod feet, the base of the peach is inscribed with cartouche in relief. Provenance from Zeilig Gallery Collection, previously purchased from Spinks 1979.

Antique Chinese bronze tripod censer, with lions' heads for handles and beautiful hand-scribed calligraphy on its front over a textured ground. The four characters on the bronze read "to keep and appreciate forever". The signature is dated the ninth year of Guangxu (1884). Some family members dedicated this to their deceased ancestor's 70th birthday. The first two characters are the name of an island in a fairy tale, inhabited by immortals. The last two characters mean "love spring"...

Antique Chinese bronze incenser of a cylindrical form on tripod feet, standing on a carved wood base. The interior of the censer has natural green patina indicative consistent with age. The base is impressed with a six characte Xuande cartouche (1426-1435).

The body is incised with a commemorative message: indebtedness by the students, the giver of gifts, spring in the year of the dragon, one of a pair. Peaches are very important in chinese culture, they symbolize life, immortality, and good fortune. It has a hanging arm with a bat charm. It measures 20" tall with hanging arm, base 4" wide. 19th century, 1821-1850.

Antique copper letter opener with a Jadeite handle, with traces of gold gilt and overlaid silver hilt. The hilt is a small silver bat, a symbol of good luck. Carved on one side of the knife is a Chinese dragon and sun, on the other side is a phoenix or fenghuang with a long vine of berries and a flower. Gorgeous antique Chinese religious libation cup with Buddhist symbols; double fish, ball of fire, lotus flower, shell, curling chimera. A shou character for good fortune on the bottom of the cup. Made out of bronze with worn gilt and a belt hook of beautifully carved white jade. Age: 18th/19th century. Size: 2" height x 3.75" length.
