Strand of Yuan to Ming Dynasty white “milk” glass trade beads excavated from the Tak Hilltop burial site along the Thai Burmese border. These can be dated to the14th to 16th CE because they were found the same strata as easily datable Chinese and Vietnamese ceramics. Please examine enlargements for condition. Unusual example of a Ming glass flower, emulating Nephrite jade, this would have sewn onto a piece of clothing or a hat as a kind of jewelry. This appears to have been cast from a mold, the edges are surrounding by tiny chips- most likely these were cast in groups and cut off from the single sheet. There was lot of dirt on this piece when I acquired it indicating this is an excavated piece, I have cleaned it up the best I could...

In Chinese culture this symbolizes fertility and a desire to have many children on another level the lotus reflects purity, strength and rebirth- as it rises from the mud and blooms into something beautiful. It is 17.5 inches (445.45 cm) in inner circumference by 11.8 inches (30 cm) in length. The pendant is 1.48 inches (3.77 cm) long by 2.1 inches (5.4 cm) wide. The beads range from 9.79 mm to 29.6 mm wide. It is 134.2 gram.

Antique Chinese rare gold filigree hair ornament. Made to sit over a top knot. Shaped as an oval dome with a raised filigree back. Decorated with applied repouse lotus flowers on a backdrop of tightly spiraling filigree and inset with cabochons of jade, ruby and sapphire.
