A contemporary Chinese buffet chest in a red lacquer. Constructed using up cycled reclaimed wood of Pine and Elm providing a green footprint for the environment. Two sets of double doors with removable shelves. In a Ming style with vermillion lacquer, it would make the perfect sideboard or liquor cabinet for entertaining.

Antique Chinese pair of tall, square stands. Made of jumu (elm) wood with natural finish and strong grain. Each stand has a drawer that is hidden when closed. The bottom portion has an open lattice shelf with a cracked ice pattern.

A very rare Chinese Nanmu scholar's table chest. Nanmu wood has been used in China since the Han dynasty and is very prized by collectors as it is difficult to find. I feel that it is rarer than huanghuali. I have only come across one Nanmu scholar's chest in all the years that I have been collecting. Size: L.34cm. W.17cm. H.6cm. Age: Mid Qing or earlier. Condition: No repairs

Chinese hardwood coffer cabinet, with relief carvings throughout of floral motifs with pigments. The front of the cabinet holds three drawers, opened by brass pulls. The sides and apron of the cabinet are carved with openwork foliate scrolls.

Antique Chinese large armoire cabinet, made all of jumu (elm) wood with beautiful dramatic grain, large round brass lock plate, interior has two shelves the lower of which has two small drawers, false bottom on interior for more storage, 19th century. Size: 78 3/4" high x 43 1/2" wide x 21 1/2" deep.

A large antique Chinese altar table made from Jumu wood. The front of the altar table contains intricate geometrical patterns, images of birds, flowers, and scrolling vine carvings. Interestingly, the top of the table contains repairs where the restorer created patterns of fish and pineapples to fill in holes on the surface of the table. Age: 19th century. Chinese low cabinet made entirely out of beautiful light color hardwood, possible Huali, the two doors are carved with a raised floral design in the center surrounded by a raised key fret motif, hardware is made of brass, the interior has one shelf, very solid, early/mid 20th century. Size: 32" high x 40" wide x 18" deep.

Indonesian hardwood bench with breathtakingly detailed carvings all around. The entire back is gorgeously carved and piercing with balls of smoke surrounding two large dragons on either side of a solid central carving featuring robed noblemen and women and men carrying objects amongst trees and structures. Below the central carving is an upside down lucky bat clutching a coin...

Set of six (6) Chinese chairs made from pearwood, with beautiful simplicity. All four legs and the underside of the seat are connected with horizontal wooden panels, carved with attractive sloping. The pearwood has a wonderful, warm glow with very attractive patterns in the grain. Comes with six tassled seat cushions. Size: 43.75" height, 20.75" width, 18.25" depth

Antique Chinese large cabinet. Beautifully lacquered with scenes of birds and flowers in gold on a red lacquer ground. Large doors open to reveal a compartment with two shelves. The top shelf has two small built in drawers. The sides of the cabinet are lacquered black. Dates from the 18th century. Size: 70 1/4" high x 44" wide x 20 1/4" deep.
