A marvelous three panel table screen done in a combination of Chinese hardwood and porcelain blanc de chine style panels. The central panel is an image of chrysanthemums in full bloom, the left panel is depicting bamboo and the right panel is a branch with dogwood-like flowers with a vine attached to its branches. A pair of vintage Chinese hand carved display or plant stands with marble inserts. Measures 9.25" high x 7" diameter. Marble insert measures 6" diameter. Well constructed and solid.

Chinese huang huali box from the mid 20th century. The box is beautifully decorated with dragons on the front doors and the top. The top of the box and doors open to reveal an open compartment and four drawers. The box has handles on either side. The piece is fitted with bronze metal hardware. It measures 14" wide 9.5" deep 13.5" tall.

A four panel coromandel screen with four porcelain panels set inside the screen surrounded with mother of pearl inlay of various human subjects set within a landscape. Each porcelain panel contains a short inscription describing the scene. The next line contains the date when the panels were painted (summer, year of the earth snake or approx. 1929). The last line contains the signature of the artist, Yu Zhushan, and that the painting is inspired by the style of Yilu Jushi. Age: Republic Period...

DESCRIPTION: A handsome rectangular Chinese chest crafted from a deep red ox leather and furnished with brass fittings. The interior still has the original blue silk lining and would have originally held scrolls or documents. Today it would make an attractive accent piece on top or underneath a cabinet or table. Good condition with some scuffing on edges; blue silk interior has some stains and small holes. This chest originated from Zhejiang Province and dates from 1920-1940...

Round Chinese wooden red lacquer storage box with auspicious symbols in gold. In excellent condition commensurate with age, measures 7.5" diameter x 3" high. Dates first half 20th century.
