$125.00 Chinese red lacquered on wood Bridal Oil Lamp stand with three(3) dimensional carving of pair of deer surrounded by pine trees on pedestal, Ca early 1900's, 13 3/4" high, 7 3/4" wide in front-widest measurement, 5 3/4" deep. Round old metal ring is attached for holding dish for oil. Red lacquer is worn on some area with usage but overall it is in good condition.

$95.00 Chinese woven Lacquered Reed Hat Box with lacquer decorated wide wooden band, with metal hinges, 12" high, 17" diameter, round dome top and bottom. Lacquered and painted design of Chinese lady carrying Lantern, and floral lacquer design on the wide wooden band. Metal hinges in front and back are somewhat loose and few metal buttons are missing. There are some normal wear and tear.

$265 DESCRIPTION: A Qing dynasty bamboo pipe, possibly used for either opium or tobacco, with a bulbous body crafted from a large segment of giant bamboo. Mounted onto this segment are heavy brass fittings, one for the tubular tobacco bowl with its long brass shaft descending into the body. The other brass tube holds the long, bent bamboo stem that is used to draw the smoke out. Very good condition with a nice patina. DIMENSIONS: 16” high assembled (40.5 cm)...

$95.00 Chinese carved Wood Rice Cake Mold, early 1900's, 9 1/2" high, 3 1/2" wide, 2" deep, deep hand carving of Long Life and Happiness Chinese Characters, with nice dark brown natural wood shape, and old polished finish. Brass hook on top for hanging on the wall for decoration. The condition is good.

$20.00 Two(2) Japanese Kiri Wood Storage Boxes, old Meiji, square box(5" x 5 1/2", 4H high), flat rectangle box(7 1/2" x 5 1/2", 1 1/2" high) in good condition.
A must have for any lotus shoe collector. This iron was used for pressing lotus shoes. The thin curved end was useful for getting into the toe area.
Made of iron, it is somewhat rusty-i.e. pleasantly aged.
Length tip to tip is 13"

$95.00 19th Century Chinese Hardwood grain measuring Bucket with Brass trim and incised "Kuang Hsu" Emperor's mark on the side, made for celebration event, late 1800's, 5 5/8" high, 9" square-top, 9 1/4" square-bottom, top has brass mounted handle in the center as well as bottom corners. It is heavy weight made out of Rosewood, has two(2) cracks on the bottom.

$150.00 Substantial sized Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period tobacco pipe with bamboo stem, horn (probably ox-horn) mouth piece, and baitong (paktong, or white brass) bowl and shank. The pipe measures 23” (61cm) in length and the bamboo stem is about 1” (2 to 2 ½cm) wide. Late 19th to early 20th century. Clearly well used but in very good overall condition. There is a small crack in the mouth piece (see enlargement 3)...

This type of drinking horn was a common household item used throughout Mongolia...each family member had his (or her) own drinking horn and they were kept on a wooden rack which was made for that purpose...
Condition 2 beads missing...silver is worn through in several area,exposing copper base...which is commensurate with normal use and aging

$300.00 Very large Chinese folk art bamboo basket with a removable inner shelf. The "double happiness" symbols on the side indicate it might have been intended as a wedding basket. Dates circa 1900. 28"H x 19" diameter (23" across the handle). Very good overall condition with some loosening of the bamboo at the bottom.
Unusual Chinese late Qing dynasty to possibly early Republic (late 19th to early 20th century) hardwood stand used to hold opium pipe dampers. A single drawer with brass pull is used for the storage of smoking accessories. The back is nicely carved with a bamboo motif. 13"L x 2"D x 3"H. Very good overall condition with some minor stains to the wood consistent with its age and use. This piece is from the private collection of American expatriates who lived in Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s...
