Vintage clear cloisonné lidded box, employing the plique-a-jour technique, lovely muted pastel colors with a “pierced” lid, most likely meant to be a potpourri to put scented herbs and flower petals in. This is a complicated and time consuming craft- please note that the bottom is cloisonné as well as having some curvature to the lid - it would have been much easier just to give it a copper bottom and making the lid flat...

$250.00 This is an early 20th Century cloisonne smoking set. Set includes a hinged cigarette or cigar box, an ashtray, and a matchbox holder. Some minor damage, but still considered in good original condition. The cloisonné design is of a boat which is somewhat hard to find.
Pair of vintage Chinese cloisonne brush pots decorated on the front with scholar's desk objects set against a blue background covered in cloud cloisons. On the back of each is a gourd and sprig of coral. A ruyi band encircles the top. The rims are copper and blue counter-enamel is in the interior and base. Each measures 9 1/8" high x 4" diameter.
