$120 DESCRIPTION: An attractive antique Chinese stoneware jar with wide body and outward turning rim, hand crafted with a pleasing celadon glaze over a raised border of circular designs. In original firing condition and dating from the early 20th C. Though the origin is Chinese, this crock would lend a nice touch of "country" in a cottage or farmhouse setting. DIMENSIONS: 7.5” high (19 cm) x 8” diameter (20.3 cm).

SOLD ! Thanks to the U.K. ! A large and impressive Qingbai glazed "Crysanthemum - box" and cover. Northern Song Dynasty. Diameter : 11,8 cm. H : 8 cm. Condition : The lower part of the box in perfect condition. The cover has an old, very professionally done restauration which is invisible to the naked eye ( even this restored cover still with a nice "ping" tone when tapped ).
Lovely fluted porcelain teapot decorated in the Imari palette with butterflies and flowers. H. 12,5 cm. This teapot is in in excellent condition: original lid, no cracks, chips or repairs, only minor ware to the gilding.
Height approximately 23.5 cm. Few hairlines at the body. Some chips at the rim.

The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe. He wears a head dress. Finely hand painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures... |
