A Chinese porcelain dish decorated with famille verte enamel. The center of the dish is decorated with two birds in a garden amidst peony and pine beneath a ruyi border. A large 10 inch Chinese celadon porcelain plate beautifully painted in polychrome enamels featuring a bird, insects, butterflies, and flowers. The painting was well executed by an artist who had a good eye for design. In very good antique condition, there is one fine hairline measuring .75" or 1.9 cm. and 1 fleabite. Marked on the back, it dates Tongzhi Period (1862-74).

Rarely encountered Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery figure of a court gentleman (often referred to as a “fat man”) wearing a scarf hat and dressed in a long, belted gown with one arm raised, his hand covered by his voluminous sleeve, and the other hand holding the belt. An acrylic stand is included. 14 1/4” high (excluding stand). Circa 7th to 8th century. Very good overall condition with nice detailing. From an Arizona collection. Purchased in Hong Kong in 1996.

They were then traded off to Chieftains in Southeast Asia and were considered sacred items. Most jars were from the Ming to the middle Qing Dynasties. A pair of Chinese porcelain bowls decorated with iron-red enamel depicting two dragons chasing a fire ball. Four characters studio mark "Fu You Tang Zhi" inside the foot rims. 19th century. Condition: One bowl is in perfect condition; the other has a chip on foot rim, and four very fade hairlines on the rim, the longest one is about one inch, there might be small chips accompanying the hairline and now be professionally restored. These flaws can only be seen under strong light...
