An authentic large Tang tomb Attendant wearing a typical attendant's outfit with remains of the original pigments. Large pottery items were made in three parts, the head, upper body and lower body.This item was excavated from a tomb in 1998 with many other items. See last photo. Age: Tang Dynasty 618 - 907 AD. Chinese underglaze Porcelain Blue and White Tea Jar, 18th century, 4 1/2", 1 3/4" diameter-top rim, 2 1/2" diameter-bottom rim, 4 1/4"w-widest area, underglaze blue design of Lotus sprouting upward from the water in the pond, interlocking with precious Chinese symbols, unglazed bottom rim and top. The bottom shows the double underglaze Blue circles. The condition is good, no damages or restorations.

Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery figure of a standing lady (often referred to as a “fat lady”), dressed in a long-sleeved, high-waisted, full-length robe. One boat-shaped shoe protrudes from the bottom of the robe. The sleeve of her gown covers her right hand while the left hand is exposed. Rarely encountered Chinese Tang dynasty (618-907) pottery figure of a court gentleman (often referred to as a “fat man”) wearing a scarf hat and dressed in a long, belted gown with one arm raised, his hand covered by his voluminous sleeve, and the other hand holding the belt. An acrylic stand is included. 14 1/4” high (excluding stand). Circa 7th to 8th century. Very good overall condition with nice detailing. From an Arizona collection. Purchased in Hong Kong in 1996.

A finely painted famille rose dish depicting a misty landscaping. Mid-20th century. The original mark had been ground and a "Hong Kong" stamp was added. Other than this, the dish is in perfect condition. Diameter: 13".

A very rare extremely large storage jar from the Chinese Song period, 960 -1126 AD.These jars were used for storage for Chinese trading vessels. They were then traded off to Chieftains in Southeast Asia and were considered sacred items. Most jars were from the Ming to the middle Qing Dynasties. This one is very rare as it dates back to the Song Dynasty. This vase was found in Borneo, Malaysia. It is unusual to find this size jar intact from that period. Size: H. 76 cm. W. 57 cm...

Large Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220) Yue ware hu form stoneware vase with two moulded and incised loop handles on the shoulder. Measures about 11 1/2" high x 8" diameter. Above the waist, the vase is decorated with two sets of incised lines running around the circumference. A mottled olive green glaze, consisting of green, brown and cream pigments, accents the upper section of the vase and the interior of the mouth. A pair of Chinese porcelain bowls decorated with iron-red enamel depicting two dragons chasing a fire ball. Four characters studio mark "Fu You Tang Zhi" inside the foot rims. 19th century. Condition: One bowl is in perfect condition; the other has a chip on foot rim, and four very fade hairlines on the rim, the longest one is about one inch, there might be small chips accompanying the hairline and now be professionally restored. These flaws can only be seen under strong light...

A trumpet-mouth porcelain vase (觀音瓶）decorated with Mirror-black glaze (烏金釉). Six under-glaze-cobalt characters "Daqing Kangxi Nian Zhi" mark inside the foot rim, 18/19th century. Condition: foot rim ground; three chips on the foot rim; scratches on glaze. Height: 13-5/8".

A small porcelain water coupe with Langyao red glaze (郎红釉）finish on the body, light green glaze (苹果绿釉） on inside the body and inside the foot rim. 18th century. The water coupe is in excellent condition - just some scratches on the glaze. Diameter: 2-5/8".
