Chinese mid-Qing dynasty Qianlong period Dehua kiln deep plate decorated in underglaze blue on a bluish-white porcelain ground with the “phoenix flying among peonies” motif. A band of stylized leaves encircles the back rim. An unidentified rectangular underglaze blue mark is on the base. The top of the foot rim is unglazed. 10 3/4” diameter x 2 3/8” high. Late 18th century. The dish is in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks...

This pottery jar of "hu" form was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and comes from Shaanxi province in the northwest of China. It is made from a relatively highly-fired reddish pottery and has simple incised decorative bands surrounding the jar at its shoulder. GBP £195 Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Glazed Pottery Jar (AD 25 - 220)
This pottery jar of "hu" form was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and comes from Shaanxi province in the northwest of China. It is made from a relatively highly-fired reddish pottery and is particularly "heavily-potted". Unusually, other than being glazed, there is no other decoration. The outer surface is coated in a thin pale greenish-brown glaze, the colour of which varies a little in places... Chinese Qing dynasty porcelain deep dish decorated in underglaze blue on a white ground with a central roundel painted in the ‘Master of the Rocks’ style with a figure in a landscape scene with mountains in the background and traditional buildings at the right side. The back wall is decorated with four foliage sprays. A two-character mark within concentric rings on the base translates “harmony jade.” 17th century (transitional to Kangxi period). 8” diameter x 1 1/2” high...

GBP £195 Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Stoneware Jar with Spout
This unusual jar was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). Apart from the short spout at the shoulder, it is a conventionally-shaped storage jar. The outer surface and inner mouth are coated in a black glaze. The glaze falls just short of the bottom of the jar leaving the concave base unglazed. Likewise, the inner surface also remains unglazed. This is quite large jar with a height of 22.25cm, diameter 20.5 cm... Song dynasty thin walled bowl with off-white glaze. There is a small chip to the underside of rim, otherwise in good condition. Diameter: 6.50 inches; height: 2 inches
