Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Bowl (damaged)
This fine-quality porcelain bowl was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It is of an attractive cone shape standing on a relatively high foot; the body is thin and particularly translucent. The inner surface has been decorated with incised floral patterns. It is coated in a blue qingbai glaze of good colour. Diameter 13.5cm... Chinese Song Dynasty Incised Celadon Porcelain Bowl
This porcelain bowl was made in the 12th - 13th Century during the latter part of the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279). It is fairly "heavily-potted" and coated in a transparent pale celadon glaze, save for the foot that remains unglazed. The inner surface is decorated with incised floral patterns. It is most likely a product of the Anqi kilns in Fujian Province. Diameter 17.25 cm...

Tang/Five Dynasties, stoneware jar with light olive green glaze and reddish clay body. The foot is rimless and concave. There is a “Jun” type glaze run on the body noted in enlargements- probably unintentional but interesting nonetheless. I have done simple repair on the mouth by filling a shallow chip and applying a layer of gold leaf. H: 12cm/4.8in and D: 9cm/3.5in.
Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Burnished Black Pottery Bowl
We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west. This bowl is fairly thinly-potted and has a flared rim and quite a sturdy foot. Diameter 12.25 cm... Seven Chinese Late Ming Blue & White Bowls Fused Together
This stack of seven complete, plus fragments of two, blue & white porcelain bowls dates to the late Ming Dynasty / 17th Century. They have been excavated from a kiln site. The bowls have fairly wide bases apart from the remains of the top item that seems to be a smaller dish with a smaller foot...

Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Pottery Zodiac Jar
This interesting pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. It is made from a relatively highly-fired grey pottery. The reddish-brown surface colour is from the iron-rich burial soil. Strips of clay have been applied to the outer wall to form six lotus leaves... Chinese Kangxi Famille Verte Porcelain Bowl
This attractive porcelain bowl was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. It is made from a particularly translucent porcelain and decorated with a geometric band and flower sprays in underglaze blue as well as green, red, black and yellow enamels and gilding. There is an iron-brown wash around the rim edge to prevent fritting of the glaze... Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Glazed Pottery Jar (AD 25 - 220)
This pottery jar of "hu" form was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and comes from Shaanxi province in the northwest of China. It is made from a relatively highly-fired reddish pottery and has simple incised decorative bands surrounding the jar at its shoulder. The whole surface, including the base and inner mouth, is coated in a thin pale amber-coloured glaze that is very finely-crackled... Chinese Eastern Han Dynasty Glazed Pottery Jar (AD 25 - 220)
This pottery jar of "hu" form was made during the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220) and comes from Shaanxi province in the northwest of China. It is made from a relatively highly-fired reddish pottery and is particularly "heavily-potted". Unusually, other than being glazed, there is no other decoration.
