A Blanc de Chine figure of a seated Kwan Yin holding a ruyi scepter on one hand and a fuzi or a wisk on the other. The distinct detailing of the hair, accessories, facial features and the flowing robes done on a simple white porcelain base is the distinct elements of blanc de chine or dehua porcelain. SOLD Chinese blanc de chine porcelain statue of Quan Yin, the Buddhist bodhisattva associated with compassion. Her name is short for Guanshiyin, meaning "Observing the Cries of the World." She stands upon strong, rolling winds and holds a lotus flower in her left hand. The statue is hollow and is pierced through her ears, eyes, and nostrils.

SOLD Chinese porcelain rice bowl with a matching footed lid, decorated with red snarling dragons, surrounded by pink and blue puffs of smoke and red embers. The lid's top has pink flowers with pretty twisting vines, and around the bottom of the bowl is a blue-green wave pattern. The lid and bowl have marks that read "Da Qing Guangxu Nian Zhi" (1875-1908).
