Chinese Ming Dynasty Longquan Celadon Tripod Censer

This attractive and quite rare three-footed censer was made during the 14th / 15th century most likely at the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province. The wide body stands on three short integral feet. Incised bands encircle the mouth and base. It is coated in a finely-crackled celadon glaze of good colour save for areas on the inner surface and base where the unglazed pale brown porcelaneous body is revealed.

A beautiful Chinese pottery tomb figure of a female rider / Attendant on horseback holding a book or a box. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.

The figure is finely glazed in cobalt blue and turqoise colors. Pigmented colours in red, white and black.

She has an elaborate high headdress and was made with many finely painted details, high quality.

Chinese late Ming dynasty Wanli period porcelain kendi with a compressed globular body and mammiform spout decorated on the globular body in underglaze cobalt blue with flowers and scrolling foliage. Leafy peaches and ribboned lozenges decorate the spout and a band around the shoulder. The tubular neck, which flares to a wide disk shaped mouth, is painted with a stiff leaf band. Chinese late Ming dynasty crackle-glazed porcelain pear-shaped vase with bulbous base, waisted neck, and flaring mouth decorated with scattered underglaze blue cobalt butterflies and leafy fruited and flowering twigs. The white glaze has a faint gray hue with darker gray geyao-type crackles. The glazed base bears an underglaze blue square form "yu tang jei qi" mark (an excellent ware from the hall of jade).
