Chinese porcelain underglaze Iron Red and Blue Horse decorated Vase, before 1920's, marked six Chinese character "Kangxi" on the bottom, 4 1/4" high, 3 1/4" widest part of the vase, 1" diameter-top rim, 1 1/2" diameter-bottom rim, three(3) iron red and blue horses are looking towards same direction beside the rock and willow trees. The condition is good, no damages.

Simple elegance is how we describe this late 19th C. turquoise Noya ware bowl. Good and strong vibrant colors of flowers with auspicious symbols, this bowl has very little wear and is in excellent shape without any chips, cracks, hairlines, and free from any restoration. It measures 10.5 inches long, 7.5 wide and 2" high.

Container in 2 parts. Rare form. Perhaps an incense burner or a container to keep a liquid warm? A small undecorated white porcelain bucket fits into a porcelain container decorated with enamel birds. Below mark of Tong-Zhi, one of the last Chinese Emperor. The porcelains of this reign are usually of very low quality, our porcelain is an exception, indeed the birds are well drawn, precision and elegance. Technically, the cooking is perfect, no flaws, no splits or lacks, well-cooked enamels...

His attribute is a fan which is said to bring the dead back to life and turn stone into gold or silver. He wears an open robe with gilt accenting, and comes with a fitted hand carved hardwood stand. A very rare Chinese triangular planter with original wooden stand that accents this rarely seen slab construction type porcelain. Adorned with precious objects, its obvious that this planter wasn't meant for the Western market, but was rather designed for domestic use for the Chinese. Chinese Porcelain Sang de boeuf, Iron Red puppy dog with Celadon glaze, Ca. 1930's, 3 1/4" high, 4" wide x 1 3/4" deep, with curled tail and bell in front of the neck. Underglaze Ox blood and celadon glaze and bottom is unglazed. The condition is good, no damages.

A small Chinese export porcelain foo dog done in the Sancai colors of brown, green, and yellow. The dog is standing on a pedestal with a puppy under his left foot. The figurine is marked "CHINA" on it's flat base. The dog measures about 7 3/4" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" wide. The condition is excellent with thickly applied enamels.
