Southern Song Dynasty Porcelain with green-blueish Qingbai glaze D: 17.1 cm / 6.7 in; H: 6.5 cm / 2.6 in (without stand), 9.4 cm / 3.7 in (with stand) Basically perfect: slight original manufacturing flaw and some age wear to rim. From a Seattle, Washington area estate An elegant Song Qingbai bowl, decorated in the interior with carved / incised details and covered in a green-blueish translucent glaze... Chinese late Ming (16th/17th century) Zhangzhou (Swatow) porcelain deep charger decorated in iron-red, green, and black overglaze enamels on a cream-colored crackle glaze ground with a central roundel holding flowering peonies. A band containing four floral panels against a crossed line ground extends around the circumference of the rim. 13" diameter x 2 3/4" high. There is significant wear to the enamels and several very old rim chips (see enlargements 6 and 7)...

sold This piece was made at the kiln in Henan pottery area. It is very popular to be called as "Henan tenmoku" which has black glaze with patterns of rusty glaze. The pattern tends to peel off because of overglaze, however this piece has patten clearly remained.

13th century Yuan - early Ming dynasty Porcelain with Longquan celadon glaze d: 26.5 cm Basically perfect, one very shallow small chip to rim, surface wear From a Northern California private collection The main Chinese ceramic for export in the 13th to 14th centuries was the Longquan celadon of Zhejiang province. Glazed in monochrome green, Longquan-type wares have been found in archaeological sites around the world... Large Chinese Qing dynasty celadon charger decorated in the interior with a carved scrolling peony motif. Late 19th century to circa 1900. 15 1/2” diameter x 2 5/8” high. Heavily potted and in very good overall condition. There are some original crazing and production flaws to the interior. From a North Scottsdale, Arizona collection. Please note that the stand is not included.
