Vintage pair of Chinese porcelain fu-dogs. Sculpted with a sense of whimsy and great detail, one fu-dog crouches with his elaborately swirling tail in the air, the other lays on her belly. Though their other name, shishi, suggests their lion-like qualities, this pair with their long flapping ears have a more dog-like appearance. Glazed with a lovely translucent blue crackle glaze with wide black glazed eyes...

Inside of vases are white, with residual color dripping into mouths. Beautiful condition, pear shape in form, shorter necks with fluted rims. Lips have a white ring. Pair of beautiful small porcelain plates decorated with scrolling vines and blue flowers. Details in blue, light green, red and gold. 6 character marks on the bottom state that the dishes are from the reign of Guangxu (1875-1908). Qing Dynasty mark and period. Size of each: 5 3/8" wide diameter.

Chinese posrcelain tea bowls with saucers and lids. The cups and lids are beautifully painted with phoenixes and dragons flying through clouds. The saucer is painted with pink, blue and yelow clouds. The cups are signed Chein Lung on the base, date from republic period. They measure 4.5" wide 3.5" tall with saucer and lid.

Chinese monochrome porcelain oval shaped shallow bowl, beautiful pale blue color glaze, 22 sprue marks on bottom, horizontal six character Yong Zheng mark, stands on low feet, with very nice carved antique hardwood stand. Size of dish only: 10 1/2" long x 7 3/4" wide x 1 3/8" deep. Wooden stand is 2 1/8" high

Chinese porcelain vase with reddish-pink peach bloom glaze. Long, slightly flared neck and round body on a short foot. White glaze inside and very pale blue glaze on the bottom.

Chinese monochrome porcelain vase in a peach bloom underglaze of mottled green and red. The body of the vase is slightly rounded with a dramatic flattened two step foot, left unglazed around the edges. The neck is tall, slender and cylindrical in shape and fades to white around the rim. With six character Kangxi mark in cobalt blue on base. Most likely 19th century.
