A competently executed example, it measures 2 cm wide, in excellent condition, no breaks no restoration and dating to late Qing period.

Small jade buckle cut with a grinding wheel, representing a dragon (chilong) curved on itself in the archaic style of the Han period. It is said that this type of buckle was used to suspend a sword on the belt. artist has excellently represented the small animal harmoniously curled up on itself and ready to pounce.
