Beautiful pair of Chinese 17th/18th century display cabinets, made with a combination of dramatic hardwoods. Two upper shelves are bordered by decorative carved panels. Two drawers sit above a hinged pair of doors with roomy storage inside.

A Japanese Kyo-yaki bowl decorated with acorns and oak leaves in thick gosu blue enamel. The moulded stoneware body is probably from a Seto kiln. Meiji period.

Approximately 14.5 cm diameter, 5 cm high. Fine condition with only one shallow frit to the rim noted.

A rare small Ming wooden Buddha with traces of lacquer seated on a lotus pedestal with his hands joined in prayer. Age: Over 500 years old. Size: H. 15cm. W. 7.3cm. Condition: No repairs. About most 0f the lacquer is gone from age.

A Chinese cloisonné enamel vase decorated with scrolling lotus flowers against a white ground. Early 19th century.

Approximately 13 cm high. The vase is in fine condition with only a little wax infill to report, this to a small area below the mouth rim, noted in the photographs.

Japanese sosaku hanga “kappa-ban” (stencil print) by Yoshitoshi Mori (1898-1992) depicting Zenzoji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. The print is pencil-signed “Yoshitoshi Mori” at the lower right.
