$350.00 Japanese large Cast Iron Tetsubin, Tea Kettle, Iron Tea Pot with Brass Cover, Ca. 1910, 11 1/2" high include handle, 6 3/4" high and 6 1/2" wide include spout for tea pot only, even textured body with very high relief design wide edge rim, and Brass cover rest into fitted lower rim. The loose Brass knob is repaired, shaped handle is metal, rust inside the pot.

$350.00 Japanese Satsuma Earthenware square shape small Censer, Incense Pot, Meiji, 1900, 2 1/8" high, 2" square-top rim, supported by four(4) small bracket feet, the Gold and enamel painting are very small finely done. Each Panel is decorated with flying Dragon, Phoenix Bird and other flying Mythetical animals in round circling cartouche in the middle with accented by detailed design. The condition is good except some raised fine detailed gold paintings are worn.
Made by a women of the Miao minority often referred to as the "tiny Miao" ...not because of their stature but because they were recongnize for their "tiny" embroidery stitches...
This jacket was worn for festivals ...and shows some use...wonderful display piece and also could be worn by a small person....

It was worn on the occasion of travel over kimono. It has wool collar, probably imported. The word "kappa" came from Portuguese "capa". The Portuguese first came to Japan in 17th century. Japanese late Meiji period bronze vase with silver inlaid bamboo decoration on the front. At the bottom of the back is the incised signature of the engraver Mitsunobu. The base reads "Kyoto Kuroda made." 6 1/8" high. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition with a nice patina. The silver has not been polished. There is a vertical area on the back that feels slightly flattened, but is barely noticeable.
