A silver milk jug with coriander-leaf design and a cartouche in shield form, probably from Kutch. Unmarked, tested silver. Condition: small area with no design (photo no. 7), handle slightly bent. Dimension: 8.8 cm high, weight: 130 g.

Decorated in underglaze blue and underglaze red, depicting scenes of immortals and children in a garden. H. 28 cm. Republic period (1912-1949). Very good condition, no cracks or repairs, only some firing flaws on the mouth rim.

Description:
A black-glazed tea bowl was in a unique form.
Apparently caused by firing effects, the surface of the glaze was transformed to a mysterious image that was charming and different.
It was not sure if it was intentionally finished by an ingenious potter or just an accidental surprise.
But it was indeed a unique and sought-after piece for real connoisseur.
