One cylindrical with a warm terra cotta colored glaze with white dripping on a coarse, light buff body burnt to an earthy orange where the bottom meets the glaze - the ring foot notched beside an impressed, three character artist's mark. Featuring two small dishes, one slightly larger than the other, and their exterior decorated with carved upright lotus petals. The two dishes are covered in a green-white ‘Qingbai’ glaze, stopping well above their feet.

$3,500.00 A pair of abstracted foxes, sitting at their haunches, tails curled wound their feet, their heads turned upwards, gazing at the moon.
Brown patinated bronze with roughened surface. Each fox signed on the bottom ‘Kozan’ in archaic script. Japan, mid 20th century. Height 10 and 10.1 inches (25.2 and 25.8 cm). Comes with the original tomobako storage box; the cover inscribed on the outside ‘tsuki miru kitsune’ (foxes looking at the moon) and stamped ‘seido... Lovely pair of figures in white pottery with remains op pigments. China, Tang Dynasty (618-907). H. 27 cm. Good condition, minor chip to one of the stands. A TL test from Kotalla is included.

$65 Two Zohiko covered rice bowls. Colorful leaf decoration sparsely applied on black ground with almost iridescent effect with gold and silver maki-e and red details. Zohiko marks in gold lacquer inside the bowls' foot rims. 20th century. Bowl diameter 5 1/16 inches (12.86 cm). The bowls each with small lacquer losses along the foot rim. The lacquer otherwise being in good condition with no distress or wear of note. Combine with other pieces from this set to save on shipping.
